Why Attest exists

Most small South African businesses handle their own agreements. They sign leases, take on staff, bring in contractors, and shake hands on partnerships, often without a lawyer in the room. The documents that follow are too important to copy from a search result, and too routine to send to a firm every time.

Attest sits in that gap. It gives you templates written for local law, a guided way to fill them in, and a second pair of eyes on anything you are asked to sign. The aim is simple: fewer bad clauses, fewer nasty surprises, and a lot less time lost to paperwork.

We are careful about what we promise. Attest is a drafting and review tool, not a replacement for advice on a hard matter. When something is complex or high in value, we will always tell you to have an attorney look it over.
